I have a glorious chicken and egg problem with enemy bullet patterns and the number of bullets. On one hand, a circular burst of bullets will look silly with anything fewer than eight bullets, and shouldn't be able to be selected without the funds to obtain eight bullets. On the other hand, the amount of bullets should be informed by the power of a given firing shape, so that single bullets are more dangerous than bullets fired as part of a burst.
What I do know is that I can't have both unless I change a number of other things. Heck with it, it's nap time. I'll dream up a solution. Maybe literally.
